Professional guides manage the raft, explain paddle commands, and run trips appropriate for current conditions.
River Gear Is Provided
Life jackets, helmets when needed, paddles, wetsuits, splash jackets, and river shoes are available.
Wear Quick-Dry Clothing
Swimsuits, synthetic layers, wool, and secure shoes work best. Avoid cotton.
Bring Sun Protection
Sunscreen, sunglasses with a retainer, and a dry change of clothes for after the trip are smart choices.
When To Go Rafting
Spring / Early Summer
Snowmelt often brings faster water, bigger waves, and more exciting conditions.
Mid-Summer
Moderate flows often balance fun rapids with family-friendly accessibility.
Late Summer
Lower water can mean warmer days, clearer channels, and technical paddling.
Ask Your Outfitter
Water levels change. A good outfitter helps match the trip to current conditions.
