OVERNIGHT & MULTI-DAY RAFTING
STAY ON
THE RIVER
A day of rafting is great. Waking up beside the river and doing it again the next morning is something completely different.
Monumental Expeditions offers custom overnight and multi-day rafting trips on Colorado's Arkansas River. Spend your days rafting and exploring, then trade the takeout for a riverside camp, a good meal, dry clothes, and a quiet Colorado evening.
These trips are built around your group, your dates, river conditions, and how long you want to stay out.

Spend one night on the river or turn it into a longer expedition.

CUSTOM ROUTE

RIVER DAYS.
CAMP NIGHTS.
The extra rafting is great, but the time between river days is what makes an overnight trip feel completely different.
WHAT'S
INCLUDED
Multi-day rafting takes more planning and equipment than a normal river day.
We handle the major river and camp logistics so you can spend your time enjoying the trip.
THE RHYTHM OF
A RIVER DAY
There is no rigid minute-by-minute schedule. Weather, flows, camps, and your group all affect the day.
MORNING
Wake up at camp, eat breakfast, pack up, and prepare for another day downstream.
RAFT
Run whitewater, float scenic stretches, explore, and enjoy a full day on the river.
CAMP
Pull off the river, change into dry clothes, settle in, and let the pace slow down.
EVENING
Dinner, canyon views, stars, and a quiet night beside the Arkansas.
ONE NIGHT OR
A FULL EXPEDITION
The longer you stay on the river, the more it stops feeling like an extended rafting trip and starts feeling like its own little world.
2 DAYS
A great introduction to river camping. Raft during the day, spend a night beside the river, and wake up for another day downstream.
3 DAYS
Two nights gives you time to settle into the rhythm instead of feeling like you just added a campsite to a day trip.
4–5 DAYS
Make the river the vacation. More time rafting, more nights outside, and more time away from normal schedules.
WHO ARE THESE
TRIPS FOR?
Overnight rafting does not automatically mean extreme whitewater. We plan the route around your group's abilities and the kind of trip you want.
FAMILIES
Turn rafting into the centerpiece of a family adventure instead of one activity squeezed into the schedule.
FRIENDS & GROUPS
Spend a few uninterrupted days together without everyone scattering back to hotels, cars, and separate plans.
RETURNING RAFTERS
If you've already done a half-day or full-day rafting trip, spending a night on the river is an entirely different experience.
WE'LL BUILD THE
TRIP FROM THERE
These are custom trips, so we plan them directly with you.
Instead of trying to fit every group into the same online booking, we'll talk through who is coming, when you want to go, and what kind of river experience you're looking for.
