Quick answers before you book your Arkansas River rafting trip.
What should I bring?
Bring clothes that can get wet, sunscreen, sunglasses with a retainer, and a towel for after the trip. We provide the river gear.
How old do you have to be?
Minimum ages depend on the trip and river conditions. Salida Valley is usually best for younger kids, Browns Canyon is great for families, and The Numbers is for ages 16+.
Do I need experience?
No experience is needed for most trips. Our guides give clear instructions and help match your group with the right section.
What’s included?
Your trip includes professional guides, safety gear, helmets, PFDs, paddles, and free river gear like wetsuits, splash jackets, and river shoes when needed.
What if the weather is bad?
Trips run rain or shine. Mornings are usually nicer with less chance of rain.
Where are you located?
We’re based at Chalk Creek Campground in Nathrop, conveniently located between Buena Vista and Salida, Colorado.
