July: Colorado’s Most Popular Rafting Month
July is the heart of rafting season.

Even during lower water years, the Arkansas River continues to offer exciting rapids and incredible scenery.

August is one of our favorite months on the river.
The water is slightly warmer, afternoon temperatures are comfortable, and crowds begin to decrease once schools return to session.
Many visitors assume rafting slows down after July, but August often offers some of the best conditions of the entire season.

September: Beautiful Fall Scenery
September offers crisp mornings, changing leaves, and peaceful days on the river.
