Monumental Expeditions is a small, family-run rafting company based at Chalk Creek Campground in Nathrop, Colorado between Buena Vista and Salida.
We started Monumental Expeditions in 2015 after years of guiding and working on rivers throughout Colorado and the West. Today, we bring more than 25 years of rafting experience to every trip we run.
Our goal has never been to become the biggest outfitter on the Arkansas River. We would rather stay smaller, keep trips personal, and give guests a better overall experience.
