What’s the best trip for families?
Salida Valley is our mellowest and most family-friendly float trip. Browns Canyon is a great option for families wanting more splash and excitement while still being beginner friendly.
Do I need rafting experience?
No experience is needed for most of our trips. Our guides will teach you everything you need to know before getting on the river.
What should I bring?
Bring quick-dry clothing, sunscreen, water, and secure footwear. We provide wetsuits, splash jackets, and river shoes when needed.
Can we camp and raft at the same time?
Absolutely. We’re located directly at Chalk Creek Campground, making it easy to combine rafting and camping into one trip.
How early should we arrive?
We recommend arriving about 30 minutes before your scheduled trip time so everyone can check in and get geared up.
Do you accommodate large groups?
Yes. We regularly take family reunions, youth groups, corporate groups, and bachelor or bachelorette parties.
